I’m honored when I’m trusted to create a new work of wearable art using memorable keepsakes.
Saying “design away!”, Judy Wilkerson of McDermitt, NV, sent a couple of baby bracelets she wore when she was a child.
The new design preserves the integrity of the original pieces and then places these treasured keepsakes front and center in a pendant. Judy was delighted and I loved the way it turned out. Kingman Turquoise stone (1½“ x ½“) cut by Jason Brousseau, NM. Pendant measures 2¼” x 2¾” .
For this commission, I was asked to create a pair of earrings from these Aztec style cuff links – another heirloom saved and worn in memory of a loving father.

Creative vision: a valued collector suggested this design – seeing what results in paper scribbles, is always exciting. Not only did the collector love it, but facebook followers did as well.
